Alcaudete

The Albergue de Alcaudete is located on the Camino de Santa Catalina next to the local cemetery. Said cemetery is the oldest in the province of Jaén and in 2016 won the third prize for the best cemetery as a whole in Spain.

The hostel has two floors, the first floor has a living room, storage room, collective bathrooms and kitchen. The second has independent bedrooms and bathrooms. The area is a very quiet wooded area just along the path, with rest areas and vegetation.

In its origins it was one of the access doors to the town from Jaén. Today, it is still the exit area to Jaén and, in addition, it is the starting point for the bike path that leads to the Vía Verde del Aceite from the city center.
